("Vena" or "the Company") (TSX:VEM, LIMA:VEM, FRANKFURT:V1R) is pleased to announce that as of January 2nd 2008 the company will be added to the general index of the Lima Stock Exchange ("IGBVL"). The IGBVL was one of the best performing worldwide index in 2006 with an increase of 182%. The exchange has given Vena a weight of 2.3154% out of the total index. 38 companies make up the IGBVL index.
